Ghost of Yotei Price Guide

Ghost of Yotei launched on PS5 at $69.99 for the Standard Edition, $79.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition and $249.99 for the Collector's Edition. From October 1, 2026 there is a better option for new players: the Complete Edition, also $69.99, which includes the base game, the Digital Deluxe content and both October 2026 expansions.

If you already own the game, you do not need to buy it again. The Complete Edition Upgrade costs $14.99 and adds the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion and the Most Wanted mode, plus the Digital Deluxe items if you do not have them yet.

These are the official prices Sony announced on the PlayStation Blog. Store prices can change during sales, and prices in other countries differ, so check the PlayStation Store in your region before buying.

The Digital Deluxe Edition adds cosmetic and convenience items on top of the full game. None of them are needed to finish the story, and all of them are now also included in the Complete Edition.

The Collector's Edition was sold through PlayStation Direct and selected retailers. It contains the game as a digital code together with all Digital Deluxe items, and a set of physical collectibles.

The Complete Edition launches on October 1, 2026, the game's first anniversary (October 2 in some Asia-Pacific territories). At $69.99 it costs the same as the original Standard Edition but contains much more: the base game, the Legends online co-op mode, all Digital Deluxe items, the Charm of Hokkyokusei, the Echoes of Sekigahara story expansion and the Most Wanted roguelike mode.

Owners of the base game get the new content through the Complete Edition Upgrade. One $14.99 purchase adds both Echoes of Sekigahara and Most Wanted; they are not sold at $14.99 each. If you only own the Standard Edition, the upgrade also gives you the Digital Deluxe items right away when you pre-order it.

The PlayStation Store still sells a separate Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade for Standard owners. Now that the $14.99 Complete Edition Upgrade includes the same items plus both expansions, it is the better buy for almost everyone.

Anyone who buys the Complete Edition or the upgrade digitally by September 30, 2026 also gets an early unlock of the Sakai Armor on October 1. Our Ghost of Yotei DLC guide explains what the expansions contain.

For most people the Ghost of Yotei price question has a simple answer after October 1, 2026: the Complete Edition gives the most content for the same money as the old Standard Edition.

The base game has been discounted on the PlayStation Store. In the Days of Play 2026 sale, which ran until June 11, 2026, the Standard Edition dropped from $69.99 to $49.69, about 29% off. Earlier, in January 2026, some players received targeted email offers of 10% off. Retailers have also discounted the disc version at times.

Past sales are not a promise of future ones, and the Complete Edition may change how Sony discounts the older editions. If you want the lowest price, a price tracker such as PSPrices will alert you when the game goes on sale in your region.

Some Ghost of Yotei content is free for every owner, whatever edition they bought. Ghost of Yotei: Legends, the online co-op mode for up to four players, arrived as a free update on March 10, 2026. Patch 1.1 in November 2025 added New Game+, replayable camps and duels, and new graphics modes. The October 1, 2026 update adds new photo, music, armor and accessibility options for everyone. The launch pre-order bonus for all editions was an in-game mask and seven PSN avatars showing Atsu and the Yotei Six. That bonus was tied to pre-ordering before release.
